We are pleased to announce that we will be scheduling a Govstack CMS release to improve the user experience in several critical areas.

Details: During this scheduled maintenance, there will be a period of 10-15 minutes in which the frontend and backend of your site will be unavailable. We recommend saving all work prior to the release window. 

Key Improvements: 

Microsite News Emails: You can now configure and style per-Home node news subscription email templates directly in the CMS Backoffice.

Flexible Global Nodes: Assign Global nodes to specific homepage destinations or apply them across various page types, including school subsites with their own headers, footers, and content.

Cross-Node Content Sharing: Reusable Components and Pods can now be selected across any Global node, giving you more flexibility to share content anywhere on your site.

Smarter Banners: Add a search bar directly to Banners, with customizable image height and support for video backgrounds.

News Feed Enhancements: Default images can now be displayed for news posts, ensuring a consistent and polished look.

Improved Subpage Listings: Outbound links now appear in Subpage Listings, and new summary options give you more control over what’s displayed.

Responsive Design Upgrades: Better responsiveness for tables, text overlay components, and multi-button layouts.

Media Performance Boost: Large media libraries now load faster and more efficiently.

New Sandbox Folder: A safe space to experiment and learn—create content without affecting your live site. Enabled by default for all clients.

Search Engine Control: Easily toggle “noindex” and “nofollow” tags for any Global node—perfect for hiding staging sites or going live quickly.

Accessibility Fixes: Accessibility improvements have been implemented for a more inclusive user experience.
