Set a New User Password

If you are a new user to your organization's Govstack platform, you may need to set a login password.

Set a new user password on a local Govstack directory

If your organization is using a local Govstack directory for their user management, you will need to create a login password when you log in to the Govstack platform for the first time. When you are logging in for the first time using your organization email address, you need to:

  1. Enter any password in the 'Enter Password' field, then select 'Sign In' (this password can be changed after you complete the initial log in)
  2. Select 'Send verification code'
  3. You will then receive a verification code to your email
  4. Enter the code from the email into the 'Verification Code' field
  5. Select 'Verify code', then select 'Continue'
  6. You can now enter your new login password following the password criteria
  7. Confirm the new password then select 'Continue'

This will complete the process and you should now have access to the Govstack platform back office.

Set a new password using your own active directory and IdP

If your organization is using its own active directory and IdP for user management, you can simply log in to your Govstack platform using your usual company email and password credentials.
